Baseball Coaching Staff

Head Coach: Matt Prill

Coach Prill began his baseball coaching career 13 years ago at Burlington Central High School both as an assistant varsity coach and head freshmen coach.  After arriving at Woodstock High School in 2012, Coach Prill worked at the fresh/soph and varsity level for several years before becoming the head varsity baseball coach at Woodstock High School in 2017.  Coach Prill and his wife, Rachel, have a 3 year old daughter, Brianna and a 1 year old daughter, Adalyn.

Assistant Varsity Coach: Zach Cullum

Coach Cullum is a Woodstock High School alum that played football, basketball, and baseball during his prep athletic career.  Coach Cullum began his baseball coaching career in spring of 2018 as the assistant varsity baseball coach.  Coach Cullum attends the University of Northern Illinois and is studying to be a physical education and health teacher.

Head Fresh/Soph Coach: Logan Kunzie

Coach Kunzie is the head fresh/soph baseball at Woodstock High School and is a 2010 graduate of WHS. In high school, Coach Kunzie was a part of the 2009 semi-finalist and 2008 playoff football teams. He was selected All-Conference, 1st Team All-Area, and All-State as Quarterback. Coach Kunzie went on to have a successful college football career at the University of Dubuque in Dubuque, Iowa and was inducted into the WHS Hall of Fame in 2020.  Previously, Coach Kunzie coached at Dubuque Senior High School before moving back to Illinois to be closer to family and proudly wear the blue and white again. Coach Kunzie and his wife, Lisa, have a one year old son, Landry.

Volunteer Assistant Coach: John Theriault

Coach Theriault began his storied career at Woodstock High School in 1978, coaching football, basketball, and baseball and teaching P.E., health, driver education.  During his tenure at WHS, Coach Theriault helped lead the 1993 baseball team to a sectional championship and eventually to the state championship game where the team placed 3rd.  In addition to his baseball accolades, Coach Theriualt was on staff for the 1996 State Championship run and the 2009 semi-finalist football team.  In 2020, Coach Theriault will enter his 42nd year of coaching baseball.
