The Blue Streaks snagged a late lead and defeated Johnsburg 10-3 on Friday. The game was tied at three with Blue Streaks batting in the top of the fifth when Gavin Loiselle drew a walk, scoring one run.
Johnsburg got things started in the first inning when Hagen hit a solo homer.
In the top of the fourth inning, Blue Streaks tied things up at three when Kaden Bogott grounded out, scoring one run.
Blue Streaks scored five runs in the sixth inning. Blue Streaks big bats were led by Loiselle and Alex Wojnicki, all driving in runs in the frame.
Sam Chapman was the winning pitcher for Blue Streaks. The righthander lasted four innings, allowing six hits and three runs while striking out five and walking one. Caden Monti threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Banasynski took the loss for Johnsburg. Banasynski allowed three hits and seven runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out three.

Blue Streaks racked up ten hits in the game. Wojnicki, Hayden Haak, and Loiselle each collected multiple hits for Blue Streaks. Haak and Wojnicki all had three hits to lead Blue Streaks. Blue Streaks didn’t commit a single error in the field. Braden Barrette had the most chances in the field with eight. Haak led Blue Streaks with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with eight stolen bases.
Johnsburg tallied ten hits in the game. Hagen and Comstock each had multiple hits for Johnsburg. Hagen led Johnsburg with three hits in four at bats.
