The Woodstock Boys Bowling team traveled to Fair Haven Lanes in Mundelein on Monday afternoon to take on the Grayslake North Knights. A team high 886 third game was not enough to close the gap the hosts built through games 1 and 2. Woodstock was led by Woodstock High School junior Jacob Piquette with a team high game 212 in game 2 and a team high series of 535 after he made quality adjustments following game 1. Woodstock North sophomore Tyler Fink followed with a 530 series and shot his most consistent series of the season, scoring all 3 games within 11 pins of each other. Woodstock North sophomore Brady Caldwell had solid games in 1 and 3 on his way to a 509 series total. Woodstock sophomore Brayden Brown contributed his season high game of 170 in second game. Woodstock North sophomore Zach Cynowa added a 186 in the closing game of the series. Woodstock junior Seth Rowe contributed a solid 149 second game before struggling in game 3 as lane conditions changed. Woodstock will travel to take on Johnsburg on Wednesday, February 24 for their next match.
